Job Title: Remote BIM Manager
Job Description
Amazon seeks a BIM Construction Operations Coordinator with Construction and Design BIM proficiency to support the execution of BIM requirements and processes across the Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) program. This role serves as the primary liaison between key internal design stakeholder teams, the GES Pre-Construction and Construction Execution teams, external design teams, and general contractors to execute internal and external coordination workflows.
Hard Skills
+ Proficiency in Construction and Design BIM
+ Strong understanding of BIM360
+ 3-5 years of project management/administration experience from design development through construction administration on commercial projects
+ Strong understanding of BIM360
+ 3-5 years exp. BS Arch required
+ 0-2+ years of project management/administration experience from design development through construction administration on commercial projects
Soft Skills
+ Ability to develop a clear understanding of technical design standards/templates
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for maintaining and creating new BIM standards
+ Support pre-construction and construction management teams
+ Engage with GES Design and Construction Management teams
+ Ensure alignment of project stakeholders
+ Lead teams in problem solving
+ Guide coordination processes
+ Organize proposal requirements for BIM
+ Work independently while building strong rapport
+ Clear understanding of construction means and methods
+ Operate strategically and efficiently
+ Make responsible decisions in critical coordination discussions
+ Manage efficient and organized meetings
+ Lead detailed design discussions
+ Clear and concise communication skills
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully remote position.
Work Environment
You will work with different project teams building fulfillment centers. The role involves attending coordination meetings, dealing with various issues in the scope of architects, and working with internal engineering and design teams. Up to 20% travel may be required. This is a salaried position.
