Title: Business Analyst

Location: Milwaukee, WI or Remote - United States

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This role requires digging deep into a specific business area to drive results through innovative technology solutions. You will work on a cross-functional team consisting of product managers, engineers, designers, and subject matter experts using an agile methodology to deliver impactful outcomes.

Business Expertise & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with business partners, peer groups, and product management to understand and enhance the business domain.
• Continue growing knowledge across the enterprise while influencing and guiding conversations effectively.

Current State, Future State & Gap Analysis:

• Document and assess the current state of processes within a specific business area or domain.
• Conduct gap analysis and assist in task-based work items in complex scenarios.

Requirements Gathering & User Stories:

• Gather fact-based requirements, including system, technical, and intake requests.

• Independently author user stories and features of low to medium complexity.

• Assist in the development process and provide execution on testing as needed (UAT, checkouts, etc.).

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Coordinate and review test plans for smaller or non-complex efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Project Management:

• Apply project management principles to successfully complete and advance work.
• Ensure alignment with agile and scrum methodologies for efficient workflow.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of industry or business experience, with domain expertise via previous internships or similar roles.
• Agile/Scrum Knowledge: Deep familiarity with agile and scrum development environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations, analyzing solutions using technical experience and judgment.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and influence skills, capable of guiding conversations and addressing conflicts with organizational savviness.

• Technical Requirements & Translation: Ability to write technical requirements and translate business needs.
