The ideal candidate will have experience in blood banking and laboratory testing, ensuring accurate and timely results while maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine and complex blood bank laboratory tests. Process specimens, conduct testing, and interpret results per laboratory protocols. Ensure compliance with quality control and regulatory guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation and test records. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for timely test reporting. Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and technical issues. Qualifications : Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Primary Source Verification Required). Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical blood bank setting. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field. BLS certification preferred. Strong knowledge of blood banking procedures and laboratory protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with precision and accuracy.
