Job Description

*“NOTE: If selected for this position, you are required to perform ALL work within a commutable distance of your assigned Worksite Location. Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote”

Cloud Pipeline Engineer with CISSP or CCSP or other Security certifications for Austin, TX for a 12-month Contract with possible extensions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines that integrate security tools and practices.
• Work with cloud platforms (like AWS or Google Cloud) to implement security best practices and controls.
• Automate security testing tools and processes (e.g., SAST, DAST).
• Utilize cloud security monitoring tools to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Work with development, operations, and security teams to promote security best practices and training.
• Assist in developing and maintaining incident response protocols within CI/CD practices.

Required Skills:

• CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) AWS Certified Security, or other certified security certs - required.
• 5+ years’ experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of security services (IAM, encryption, security groups, etc.).
• Previous experience in DevSecOps.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• CI/CD Tools: experience with Jenkins.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure securely.
• Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, compliance, and penetration testing.
• Understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related fields.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), AWS Certified Security, or other certified security certs - required.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
