Job Description
A Corporate Paralegal is needed to join a fast-paced legal team in Old Greenwich, CT. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years of experience supporting corporate transactions and possess strong organizational skills. This role requires someone who can handle multiple priorities, pay close attention to detail, and manage various legal tasks with efficiency.
On-site 4 days per week
Base Salary: $80K - $100K
Hours: 9 am - 6 pm with 1-hour lunch break
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior paralegal with a variety of corporate legal tasks and projects
Prepare filings for both domestic and international corporate entities, including formation and qualification documents
Draft corporate documents, such as resolutions, officer certificates, and operating agreements for U.S. and foreign entities
Prepare and review contracts, including NDAs and licensing agreements, using standard templates
Maintain and organize both electronic and physical legal records
Facilitate contract execution by coordinating signatures, notarization, and document distribution
Provide administrative support including data entry, document management, and filing
Assist attorneys with research and ongoing projects across multiple global offices
Help create systems to improve department processes and efficiency
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth legal operations
Qualifications:
3-4 years of paralegal experience, ideally in corporate law (either in-house or at a law firm)
Experience supporting corporate transactions and familiarity with international entities is a plus
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with document management systems is a plus
Paralegal certificate or equivalent education/experience preferred
