Job Description

Hayes Commercial Group, a commercial real estate firm, is seeking a part-time digital marketing specialist to join our marketing department in downtown Santa Barbara. The digital marketing includes email campaigns, social media, and preparation of online content. Additional work includes page layout in Adobe InDesign and image editing in Photoshop. This is a great opportunity to develop marketing skills with a successful firm in a friendly, professional environment. This is an on-site position.

REQUIREMENTS

• Facility with Instagram, LinkedIn, FaceBook/Meta.
• Prior experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is preferred.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience creating digital content using Adobe Express, Canva, MailChimp, MyEmma, etc. is a plus.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Note: practical assessment of skills using various applications will be conducted during the interview process.

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

• Preparation and publication of email campaigns using an online editor (MyEmma).
• Preparation and posting of social media messages on multiple channels.
• Engagement with social media communities: following, liking, etc.
• Tracking and analyzing performance data for multiple social media channels.
• Layout of marketing content using InDesign, and editing images in Photoshop.
• Preparation and posting of content on company website news page.
