Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team at both of our locations, Chick-fil-A of Boiling Springs and Chick-fil-A of Spartanburg (Asheville Hwy). The Operations Director position is a “hands-on” management opportunity designed to give you a career in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation while providing opportunities for your professional growth and development. This individual will rotate through critical areas of the restaurant learning all aspects of the business. During each rotation, this individual will receive a vision, coaching, business “scorecard” metrics, problem-solving skills, training to develop others, and opportunities to raise talent within the business. We are seeking individuals who are self-starters and possess entrepreneurial leadership that inspires and influences others to further capacity. This individual will be a part of the leadership team from the beginning; being led and developed by the Senior Director of Operations, as well as the Owner/Operator, to accomplish our mission while living out our purpose. This individual will attend bi-monthly Director Meetings and monthly group meetings with the Owner. The ideal candidate must have a team player mentality, be able to quickly adapt to change, and have a positive attitude. The candidate must have flexible availability, with the ability to open and close, and be able to work Saturdays in a fast-paced environment, working 45-50 hours each week. Part of that time will include spending time on floor operations and leading and influencing the team. As part of the program, this individual will get to lead others, build relationships with customers and team members, and have the ability to capitalize on their gifts.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Leading a high-performance team with a focus on systematically and effectively communicating all related goals and success factors to team members.
  • Managing day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Implementing policies and procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, & promote sales.
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety.
  • Working “hands-on” in various FOH and BOH positions
  • Assist in training team members in company standards, ensuring proper knowledge of the menu, company policies & procedures.
  • Facilitate weekly schedule for team members, adjusting when needed.
  • Help the Owner/Operator and Leadership Team grow our business and impact our community.
  • MUST have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and be well spoken)
