Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to drive strategic growth, oversee multi-unit operations, and uphold the highest industry standards.

Position Summary:

The Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the operational, financial, and strategic success of our fine dining restaurants. This individual must have proven expertise in upscale Asian dining , overseeing multi-unit concepts while maintaining exceptional guest experience, culinary integrity, and brand consistency .

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Strategy:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Asian fine dining locations, ensuring seamless execution and premium guest experiences .
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, SOPs, and best practices tailored to luxury Asian dining concepts .
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across all venues, maintaining high-quality food, service, and ambiance.
  • Lead new restaurant openings, renovations, and expansion projects , ensuring smooth launches and alignment with brand vision.

Financial & Performance Management:

  • Drive profitability, revenue growth, and cost efficiencies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service .
  • Oversee P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making by analyzing KPIs, guest feedback, and market trends.

Team Development & Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop General Managers, Executive Chefs, and key leadership teams to drive excellence.
  • Establish a culture of high performance, collaboration, and hospitality-driven leadership .
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and talent development , ensuring top-tier service standards and culinary execution.

Guest Experience & Brand Excellence:

  • Uphold and elevate the luxury dining experience , ensuring a seamless blend of authenticity, innovation, and impeccable service .
  • Implement service training programs to maintain Michelin-caliber guest experiences .
  • Foster relationships with VIP guests, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to strengthen brand presence.

Culinary & Beverage Program Oversight:

  • Collaborate with Executive Chefs and Beverage Directors to maintain menu integrity, innovation, and authenticity .
  • Ensure strict adherence to food quality, presentation, and sustainability .
  • Oversee wine, sake, and cocktail programs , ensuring alignment with the restaurant's premium positioning.

Compliance & Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, labor laws, and corporate policies .
  • Implement technology solutions and operational efficiencies to enhance workflow and service execution.
  • Monitor vendor partnerships and supply chain logistics to maintain the highest-quality ingredients and materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔️ Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in fine dining operations , with at least 5 years in an upscale Asian dining concept ( Michelin-star, Forbes-rated, or high-end restaurant group preferred ).

✔️ Multi-unit management experience in high-volume, luxury hospitality settings.

✔️ Strong financial acumen , including P&L oversight, budgeting, and revenue optimization .

✔️ Expertise in hospitality technology, training programs, and operational improvements .

✔️ Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills .

✔️ Deep understanding of Asian cuisine, culture, and fine dining service standards .

✔️ Experience with VIP clientele, private dining, and high-profile events is a plus.
