Drywall Installer

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Drywall Instalelr for a manufacturing company located in Manor, Texas. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing drywall/sheetrock, including walls and ceilings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on drywall experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

As a Sheetrock Installer, you'll be responsible for:

• Installing drywall/sheetrock panels on walls and ceilings
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting sheetrock to custom dimensions using hand and power tools
• Securing sheetrock to structural framing with screws, nails, or adhesives
• Taping and mudding seams, filling joints, and preparing surfaces for painting or finishing
• Identifying and repairing imperfections, cracks, or damaged areas in drywall
• Working from shop drawings and following installation standards
• Maintaining tools, materials, and a clean, organized workspace
• Following all company policies, safety protocols, and building codes
• Attending safety classes and contributing to a positive team culture
• Performing other related duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in drywall or sheetrock installation (required)
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, taping, mudding, and finishing
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings or blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Safety-conscious and familiar with job site protocols
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a production setting
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Steady MondayFriday schedule: 7:00 am 3:45 pm OR 7:00 am 5:45 pm (with overtime as needed)
