Graphic Designer - Onsite

Job Summary:

The Graphic Designer creates visually compelling graphics that enhance our team’s brand identity, support marketing efforts, and engage with our fanbase.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create eye-catching graphics for various media, including social media, websites, print materials, event signage, and merchandise.
  • Design race car liveries, driver uniforms, and team branding elements to ensure a consistent and dynamic visual identity.
  • Develop promotional materials such as posters, banners, flyers, and digital ads for marketing campaigns and special events.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with the team’s brand strategy and goals.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of visual quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with drivers, crew members, and sponsors to create custom graphics and promotional content that highlights their involvement and contributions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather input and feedback, and make necessary adjustments to designs based on stakeholder needs.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept through to final delivery, while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation of design assets and projects for easy access and future reference.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and techniques to ensure that the team’s graphics are modern and engaging.
  • Proactively suggest new ideas and creative approaches to enhance the team’s visual presence and effectiveness in communication.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for NASCAR and motorsports with a good understanding of the sport’s visual and branding needs.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and solve challenges.
  • Ability to multi-task, stay calm and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, preferably within the sports or motorsports industry.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working as a professional graphic designer.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a racing or fast paced sports environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
  • Position needs to occasionally move to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
