Driver Requirements for all positions:
- No current driving record suspension or revocation
- Complete a Pre-employment drug screening
- Provide an approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Pass a Pre-employment background check
- No failed or refused drug or alcohol test(s) in the last 5 years, including DWI, DUI and BAC's
- Ability to provide 3 years of verifiable driving work history
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Ability to lift, push and/or pull at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, bend, kneel and/or climb.
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions
Driver Requirements For Class C Positions:
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Ability to safely drive an automatic vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 26,000 lbs.
- At least 19 years of age
- Bilingual is a plus
- Forklift certified is a plus
- Must be available to work Saturdays and a 6-day work week during busy seasons
Class C Driving positions pay $17 to $20 per hour, based on experience and driving history.
Driver Requirements For Class B Positions:
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Ability to safely drive a Manual Transmission vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs and a piggyback.
- At least 19 years of age
- Bilingual is a plus
- Forklift certification required
- Must be available to work Saturdays and a 6-day work week during busy seasons
Class B Driving positions pay $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience and driving history.
Driver Responsibilities:
- Fully understand how to safely operate and drive your assigned vehicle to transport goods, etc. to intended destination(s).
- Perform pre and post trip equipment inspections daily.
- Checking quality of material(s) before loading into the truck, checking quantity and product accuracy against manifest before securing material(s) into vehicle for customer delivery.
- Adhere to company rules, regulations, operating standards and policies.
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions.
- Be OSHA Safety complaint.
- Maintain a clean vehicle.
- Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
- Maintenance of appropriate paperwork; customer signatures, working hours, etc.
