Join to apply for the LUAU STAGE MANAGER role at Royal Lahaina Resort Overview The Luau Show Stage Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Luau Operations and will be responsible for hiring, coordinating, coaching, counseling, supervising, and directing the Luau Show staff. They will oversee daily operations of the Luau Show, maintain performance standards, and ensure the quality of the show while promoting Hawaiian/Polynesian culture and the Aloha Spirit. Responsibilities Assist and work closely with the Director of Luau Operations, F&B Luau Managers, and show staff. Manage all aspects of the Luau Show's daily operations. Conduct pre-shift and post-shift meetings with staff. Take nightly show notes and report discrepancies for improvements. Hire, manage, supervise, and train all show personnel. Schedule staff and manage Time and Attendance in Dayforce. Participate in rehearsals and auditions, and oversee show production components. Coordinate costume washing, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Manage expenses and stay within the allocated budget. Respond to guest complaints and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Attend and participate in meetings and training, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proven managerial experience in show production or similar roles. Extensive knowledge of Hawaiian/Polynesian dance and songs. High dance skill level and ability to perform dance numbers. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Basic computer skills including MS Office. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability and fitness to perform and oversee show activities. Knowledge of Hawaiian/Polynesian culture preferred. Additional Requirements Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and embody the Aloha Spirit. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
