Description
River City Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join the Loan Center team. The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all mortgage, consumer, and small business loans, credit investigations, and credit analysis on all credit applications
**Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Sacramento metropolitan area, including surrounding counties within a commutable radius** Duties & Responsibilities: - Gathers all information and take each package from pre-qualification to closing;
- Functions as the liaison between Premier Relationship Manager (RM) and underwriter;
- Accurately inputs all loan information into various systems;
- Prepares file for disclosure preparation in accordance with established consumer regulations including TRID requirements;
- Inputs all required data into applicable loan origination system for the processing of each request, pulls credit reports on submitted customers from Bank personnel; performs credit investigations; prepares related reports including the debt/income ratio and discretionary reports;
- Verifies all loan documents including income, credit reports, appraisals, insurance, title reports, etc.;
- Ensures loan package is complete with necessary documentation (i.e. income/tax statements, title reports, appraisals, mortgage statements, asset statements, completed third party approvals), and verification programs guidelines have been satisfied before submitting to underwriter for approval;
- Obtains credit reports; orders appraisals and maintains approved consumer appraiser listing; opens escrows; orders, reviews and researches title issues; updates loan systems as information is received and manages electronic files from inception to loan closing;
- Orders and coordinates loan documents;
- Reviews and prepares loans for documentation preparation; tracks for loan closings;
- Arranges signing dates and resolves issues and discrepancies as they arise;
- Maintains a current knowledge of bank policies, procedures and regulations; informs underwriter of packages that fall outside of established bank parameters.
Requirements
- Three years of banking experience, or lending background preferred.
- Two or more years of mortgage loan processing experience.
- Knowledge of mortgage and consumer loan processing, including but not limited to, Federal and State regulations and TRID.
- Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations.
Required Education High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Working Conditions This position offers a flexible work environment. Employees can choose to work from the corporate office or voluntarily work from home. The specific arrangement will be discussed and agreed upon with your manager in accordance with Bank policies. The Bank does not require or encourage employees to work remotely or on a hybrid schedule.
