Job Description

The New Home Sales Counselor is responsible for engaging with prospective buyers, building strong relationships, and guiding them through the sales process to successfully close sales of newly built homes. This role involves proactive outreach to potential buyers, referrals, and real estate brokers to generate leads and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist homebuyers with literature and community information
• Showcase model homes and home sites, discussing floor plans and construction details
• Respond to customer inquiries and address objections to move toward a sale
• Accept offers and applications, and provide guidance on financing options
• Complete sales documentation and maintain accurate records and files
• Conduct regular follow-ups with buyers until closing
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the sales center and community
• Update and distribute marketing materials as needed
• Generate new prospects through networking, referrals, and broker outreach
• Use market analysis tools to support pricing and competitive positioning
• Present to real estate brokers to attract traffic to KB communities
• Plan and host community events and grand openings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active Washington real estate license required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-focused with a solution-oriented approach
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Committed to professional and ethical conduct in all dealings with buyers and brokers

Pay

• Base salary: $36,000
• Total expected annual earnings: $125,000 – $175,000 (base + commission)
• Monthly mobile phone stipend included
