Job Description

The New Home Sales Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective buyers through the purchase of newly constructed homes. This includes presenting home options, addressing buyer needs, and closing sales. The role requires ongoing lead generation through outreach to buyers, referrals, and real estate brokers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, provide marketing materials, and respond to inquiries
• Demonstrate model homes and home sites; explain floor plans and construction features
• Handle buyer objections and close sales
• Process offers and applications, answer financing questions
• Complete and maintain all required sales documentation
• Conduct weekly follow-ups with buyers until home closing
• Continuously prospect through networking, referrals, and outreach to brokers
• Use market analysis tools to support sales
• Host community events and grand openings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active Washington real estate license and valid driver’s license required
• Prior sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused, action-oriented, and goal-driven
• Collaborative team player with decision-making ability based on data
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Professional and ethical conduct with clients and external brokers

Pay

Base salary: $36,000

Total expected annual earnings: $125,000–$175,000 (base + commission)
