We are seeking knowledgable and self motivated medical professionals who are looking to get involved in the exciting world of intravenous therapy. We offer both injections and infusions at our clinic so knowledge and experience with these is required. 

POSITION TITLE :  

IV Technician

 

ROLE:

IV Technicians assist in administering intravenous vitamins for outpatient infusions. Including starting IV’s, running fluids, monitoring the client, and documenting appropriately. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Starting IV’s to perform intravenous fluid administration.
• Performing Intramuscular Injections
• Document interactions and client communication regarding therapy services, assessment, and responses/reactions to treatment.
• Demonstrates compliance with professional standards, regulations, policies and procedures, and accreditation standards.
• Assessment of client’s health, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental status, etc., and identify contraindications to intravenous therapy.
• Basic training for nutrition infusion therapies will be given.
• All other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, or Assistant Clinic Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• RN or Paramedic License; must be active and up to date.
• Strong venous access skills
• Caring and friendly attitude.
