Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, offering personalized support and regular updates throughout the legal process. File legal documents with local courts, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements. Conduct legal research and summarize findings to assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials. Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to develop effective, client-focused legal strategies. Paralegal Job Requirements: Previous paralegal experience in a law office, preferably in family law. Familiarity with the local court system and procedures. Strong knowledge of custody law, divorce procedures, and spousal support regulations. Proven ability to work collaboratively on small teams. High attention to detail and a track record of meeting critical deadlines.
