Job Description

Seeking a career-minded candidate to join our Executive Underwriting team to handle commercial transactions. Prior real estate, title and underwriting experience are preferred; however, for the right candidate, we are willing to train. A minimum of 3 years paralegal experience is required.

Duties include:

Prepare and evaluate title reports to determine insurability and compliance with title underwriting requirements.
Review customer instructions to determine whether the transaction meets the limits of the policy requested.
Perform risk analysis and problem resolution on technical issues.
Prepare pertinent legal documents such as correction deeds, affidavits for in-house legal review.
Based on the conditions of a transaction, determine acceptable underwriting risks and when necessary, work closely with underwriting authorities to obtain required approvals.
Organize and properly maintain the necessary documentation for a complete underwriting file.
Serve as technical resource for staff, internal and external customers.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
