Penetration Tester Location: United States - North Carolina, Raleigh Department: Information Technology (IT), Group Functions Job Type: Full Time Your role Do you have experience in performing penetration testing? Are you skilled at testing complex applications and identifying security vulnerabilities? Can you report findings effectively and guide software teams to remediate issues? We are looking for penetration testers to: Perform manual penetration testing on web, desktop, and mobile applications, as well as critical infrastructure like Active Directory and LDAP. Identify and report vulnerabilities using established methodologies, with extensive knowledge of OWASP. Communicate with application teams to help remediate vulnerabilities. Utilize various technologies and tools such as Burp Suite, DAST, and Azure cloud. Participate in process improvements and automation. Conduct technical quality assurance, including false-positive analysis and risk assessments. About your team You will join the Application Security Testing team, which operates across multiple regions and supports the Application Security Framework. This role is crucial to our Technology Services, especially in Application Security Testing. Your expertise At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis and reporting. Knowledge of application security frameworks (OWASP) and experience with Burp Suite Professional. Understanding of web application vulnerabilities, including mechanics, exploits, impacts, and remediations, along with familiarity with technologies like GraphQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and WAF. Experience in SAST and mobile application penetration testing is a plus. Knowledge of thick client and infrastructure penetration testing is a plus. Certifications such as OSCP, CompTIA, or Burp Suite Certified Practitioner are desirable.
