Job Description: Accenture Federal Services is currently seeking an experienced Red Hat Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role you will design, build, test, and deploy cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.
Responsibilities include: - The candidate will conduct routine and complex troubleshooting to resolve problems related to Red Hat Installation/updates, software configurations and installation.
- The candidate will also perform updates to servers, and devices with support from other Engineers.
- Work with a team of talented professionals to innovate solutions for customers across the globe
- Installation, configuration, and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
- Supporting Linux deployments leveraging VMware architecture
- Provide timely resolution of support requests.
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members and customers to understand, propose, and continuously implement service improvements.
- Assist with analysis, planning, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Responsible for maintaining and sharing knowledge of policies and procedures for hardware, software, and technical services
Here's what you need: - Minimum 3 years' Linux administration experience supporting enterprise environments
- Knowledge of the Linux OS (RHEL 7+/CentOS 7+/Ubuntu 18.04+) and its components (kernel, system, libraries, job scheduling, and package management)
- Knowledge of fundamental network protocols such as routing, TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SSL/TLS, and
- Experience with OS patching and patching tools such as (RPM, YUM, repos)
- IAT Level II certification
Bonus points if you have: - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- BASH or Python scripting skills, including understanding, modifying, and creating scripts.

California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$83,900-$170,200 USD
