Job Title: : Red Hat OpenShift Developer

Job Location: Tullahoma, TN

We are seeking a skilled Red Hat OpenShift Developer to join our dynamic IT Development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Red Hat OpenShift. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) working with Red Hat OpenShift platform for application development.
  • Current U S Citizenship required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications on Red Hat OpenShift platform.
  • Collaborate with development team members to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide solutions for optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on Red Hat OpenShift updates, features, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team by documenting best practices and lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., DevOps) to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
