Job Description

Your Job Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products division is looking for an SAP MM analyst in Materials Management to join our Procure to Pay team! This role will work directly with business partners and other Procure to Pay team members to identify and provide solutions to functional gaps, gather requirements for enhancements, translate requirements into system design, and support the necessary configuration, code development (ABAP) and testing. A successful candidate should have hands-on experience configuring, developing and supporting SAP MM along with demonstrated analytical skills and initiative, enthusiasm for collaboration, passion for working with people, good economic thinking, be open to challenge and have an appetite for learning and innovation. Our Team Consumer Products division as an SAP MM Analyst in our dynamic Procure to Pay team, where you'll collaborate with business partners to address functional gaps and enhance procurement processes. You'll play a crucial role in gathering requirements, designing system solutions, and supporting configuration, ABAP development, and testing. LOCATION: ATLANTA, GA (HYBRID)

What You Will Do
  • Designing, developing, and configuring SAP MM solutions in an S/4 HANA
  • Troubleshooting customer-reported issues and assisting users with day to day support
  • Analyzing complex business problems to provide solution alternatives and recommendations
  • Partnering closely with business SMEs to deliver and support required solutions; developing systems to parallel overall business strategies
  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating requirements into functional and technical solutions
  • Driving enhancements and contributing to projects across all phases including requirements, design, development, testing, training, implementation, and support
  • Developing and maintaining functional and technical specifications, test plans and other documentation
  • Working collaboratively with an extended team of SAP functional and technical resources
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Hands on IT Experience with SAP MM and development (ABAP) role
  • Functional proficiency and experience in designing, configuring, and implementing MM solutions
  • Functional expertise with requisitions, purchase orders, advanced shipment notices, goods receipts, invoice receipts, as well as interfaces between the Ariba Supplier Network, Invoice Management, Buyer Network, and other procurement systems.
  • Work experience with full life-cycle implementations or equivalent support, rollout, and upgrade/enhancement projects
