🔒 Our direct client is hiring: ServiceNow Security Consultant

📍 Location: Chicago, IL or Tempe, AZ

🕒 Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

As a ServiceNow Security Consultant , you’ll be a key player in defining platform-wide security standards, designing governance frameworks, and collaborating closely with Identity Management teams to ensure secure, scalable access controls. This is more than just a technical role—it's your chance to influence enterprise-wide security practices in a highly strategic and visible position.

🔧 What You'll Do:

• Define and enforce security standards, access controls, and role-based permissions across ServiceNow.
• Integrate ServiceNow with Identity Management Systems for seamless provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Lead the documentation of governance models and audit procedures.
• Conduct ongoing security reviews to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Provide guidance on the security impact of new ServiceNow features and customizations.
• Act as the go-to subject matter expert on ServiceNow platform security.

✅ What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience with deep knowledge of ACLs, roles, and platform security best practices.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, especially in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise-level security governance.

⭐ Bonus Points For:

• ServiceNow CSA or Implementation Specialist certifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM or integration with SAML, SCIM, or LDAP.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27701, or audit/compliance standards like SOX, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Background in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and custom security automation.
• Proven ability to work in large-scale enterprise environments.
