The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in implementing accounting principles and procedures to evaluate financial data, generate precise and timely financial reports, and uphold proper accounting control measures. Additional special projects may be assigned as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Gather and assess financial data to create financial statements.
• Ensure that financial records are kept in accordance with established company policies and procedures (SOP).
• Develop and maintain departmental SOPs.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for management's review.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to management.
• Address and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist in budget and forecasting activities.
• Oversee the general ledger.
• Maintain financial databases.
• Ensure the accurate recording and analysis of revenue and expenses.
• Conduct fixed asset and accrual log reporting and routine reviews.
• Monitor reserve accounts and short-term investment funds.
• Review bank reconciliations.
• Assist in yearly audit
