Senior Accountant
Columbus, OH

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle accounting process including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Conduct account reconciliations and analyses
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and accounting best practices
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency
• Provide support and training to junior accounting staff members

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA certification is a plus
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting procedures
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical abilities and impeccable attention to detail
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication talents
