As a Software Engineer Intern , you will assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of our software programs. You'll become an integral part of an engineering team while staying closely connected to the entire WellSky summer intern cohort through various collaboration and networking events and summer experiences. Responsibilities Can Include: Writing and debugging code for business applications in the healthcare domain Researching, investigating, and fixing a wide range of technical issues and proactively learning new technologies to support our software applications Participating in documenting and preparing system requirements and design specifications and testing software applications Creatively approaching problems and proposing solutions in collaboration with WellSky teammates and senior leaders Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Knowledge and demonstrated competency in several key languages, technologies and/or platforms used across WellSky technology teams including, but not limited to: JavaScript, .Net, Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, SQL, Java, Angular, PowerShell Preferred Qualifications: Currently a junior or senior-level student with two or less summers before graduation completion Job Expectations: Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time WellSky is where independent thinking and collaboration come together to create an authentic culture.
