Job Details

• General job duties include caring for patients in Phase I Recovery for approximately 80-90 patients including pediatrics, handling general and complex surgeries/procedures, and providing Level 1 Trauma center care for ICU patients awaiting beds.
• Care for cath lab procedures with anesthesia, including TAVR, ablations, and pacemakers.
• Utilize EPIC and OP TIME for computerized charting and medication systems.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of PACU experience, preferably with Critical Care Experience.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Schedule Information

• Call shift requirements include 3 overnight call shifts in 6 weeks.
• No worked weekends; work shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours in length.

Unit Specific Information

• Floating is not required outside of the recovery room area, only within the 5 PACUs on site.
