Underwriting Assistant / Policy Processor

We are a mid size P+C carrier both commercial and personal lines insurance carrier we serve customers in all 50 states, and is well-known throughout our industry for its exceptional customer service and expertise. We believe in a healthy balance of work and home life.

We are currently looking for multiple Underwriting Assistants and Policy Processors to help our growing team. Insurance Experience is a MUST. We are willing to train any person who has strong customer support skills with some type of insurance.

Insurance Representative Duties

• Servicing a group of designated customers, answering questions, and handling communications regarding their policies (via email or phone), as they arise
• Working in various insurance companies’ websites, pulling proper information, updating customer information, and processing new or renewing policy documents
• Processing customer payments through online payment portal
• Work alongside Insurance Agents and Underwriters to request new quotes or insurance rates for customers when necessary

Insurance Representative Requirements

• Positive and helpful attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based applications
• Looking for at least 2 years of customer support experience
• General insurance knowledge is a plus, but not required
