WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer II - Health who will be responsible for working with an experienced cross-disciplinary team to conceive and support design work for innovative consumer products. Day-to-day tasks will include user needs analysis, defining information architecture, developing detailed level workflows and wireframes. You must be responsive, organized, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative, peer environment.

The Digital Health Team is a product team that designs, implements, and validates user experience for high-profile, consumer electronics product lines and future technologies in the healthcare space. Our work drives the key features, products, and systems in products and services. Most of our work focuses on mobile and wearable healthcare applications that offer user benefits made possible through collaborative technologies at a global scale worldwide (from TVs to the future of Business and Home & Lifestyle family of digital appliances and services, to mobile and watch sensor systems).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling visual narratives and design solutions that effectively tell a story, engage audiences, and align with user needs.
  • Collaborate iteratively with stakeholders, sharing in-progress work, incorporating feedback, and refining creative concepts into cohesive design systems.
  • Balance design aesthetics, business objectives, and customer benefits while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Evaluate new and existing products to gauge desirability, making actionable suggestions for improvement and innovation.
  • Develop workflows, user task analysis, interaction flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
  • Work closely with other designers to build components that seamlessly fit into a larger component library/style guide.
  • Contribute to design language and promote design thinking throughout the team by developing and championing guidelines, standards, and user-centered design processes.

Required Experience and Education:

  • 4 years of UX/UI design experience, including shipping products to market, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality design work, systems thinking, and relevant projects (individual or team-based).
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field (or equivalent education/training/experience).
  • Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Principle, Keynote/PPT) for creating visual artifacts and presentations.
  • Experience designing consumer electronics, balancing aesthetics with usability, and managing timelines effectively.
