Welders, $21 to $27 Hour, DOE
Location: Murrieta, CA
Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm Mon-Thurs and 5:00am-1:30pm on Fri/Sat
Must be flexible for OT up to 12 hours shifts and 2-3 Saturdays per month

Overview of the Jobs

We have openings for Welders at various skill levels to cut and join metals and other materials. The work will involve operating equipment to assemble mechanical structures or parts. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties, and prior welding and fabrication experience. A Weld test will be performed during interview.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
• Weld using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
• Able to determine that weld meets ASME specifications
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Work Environment

• Warehouse environment, and utilizing material handling equipment, tools and machinery.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW)
• Experience using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards, willing to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Prior welding and fabrication experience, a Certification (AWS welding certificate) will be a plus!
