Window & Door Installer

$24.00 - $32.00 Hourly

Job Description:

The Window & Door Installer will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of windows and doors in residential, commercial, and hotel projects. This role requires local and travel to various locations for hotel installations and renovations. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling a variety of window and glass types and commercial door installations while ensuring safety and precision in every task.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and replace windows, glass panels, and related hardware.
• Measure, cut, and fit glass and window frames accurately.
• Work with various glass types, including tempered, laminated, and insulated glass.
• Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
• Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of installed windows.
• Operate hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Travel as needed to complete hotel projects, including multi-day assignments.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at job sites.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in window/door installation or glazing.
• Skills: Proficient in using hand and power tools; knowledge of glass cutting and window installation techniques.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for hotel project installations
• Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physical tasks.
• License: Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Continuous lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
