Position is in office and not hybrid or remote.

Growing soft home goods company that does $100M is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. We specialize in kitchen, tabletop, bedding & bath products and we’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented salesperson from the soft home or apparel sectors. Must have experience with major retailers (ex. Kohl’s, TJX, Walmart, Dollar, etc.) and used to working at a fast pace.

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary point person for assigned accounts to present products, manage and increase the business with them
• Correspond with buyers on a daily basis
• In stores on a regular basis to study market trends
• Setting up and submitting customer forms and internal spreadsheets
• Analyze weekly POS reports for emerging trends
• Work with production, design, pd, packaging and sales departments daily
• Selection and creation of planograms, line directions, seasonal endcaps & special promotions
• Organize and submit pricing for new products to customers and internal departments
• Work with overseas offices on a daily basis to ensure your customers get what they need

Required skills:

• Home textile experience much preferred, or experience in apparel sales or hard home
• Track record of increasing sales with Mass retailers
• Experience working with buyers
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite
• Minimal travel
• 4-7 years’ experience
