Electrical Engineer 5

Education & Experience Required:

• BS degree in electrical engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience or 6+ years experience with advanced degree

Technical Skills

(Required)

• Hands-on experience with converter/inverter prototyping, test benches, and debugging.
• Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, AC-DC inverters , magnetics, and control algorithms.
• Proficiency in using lab instruments and data acquisition tools.
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice.
• Experience with standards and compliance (UL, IEC, ISO) for power electronics systems.
• Hands-on experience with MV switchgear
• Hands-on experience with UPS system
• Understanding of EMI/EMC testing, thermal design, and environmental validation.
• Working knowledge on functional safety
• Familiarity with industry standards on power generation equipment
