For more information, visit Overview The Luau Show Stage Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Luau Operations. Responsibilities include hiring, coordinating, coaching, supervising, and directing the Luau Show staff, in conjunction with the F&B Luau Managers, to oversee daily operations and maintain performance standards, ensuring the quality of the Luau Show and perpetuating Hawaiian/Polynesian culture and the 'Aloha Spirit'. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Luau Operations and collaborate with all show staff and managers. Oversee daily operations of the Luau Show, including managing staff schedules, rehearsals, and performances. Conduct pre-shift and post-shift meetings, take nightly show notes, and report discrepancies for continuous improvement. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all personnel involved in the Luau Show. Manage scheduling, time and attendance, inventory, and equipment maintenance. Coordinate costumes, costumes washing, and inventory management. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, sanitation, and legal regulations. Handle guest interactions, including resolving complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction. Participate in auditions, rehearsals, and production meetings. Maintain budget adherence and track expenses. Perform other duties as assigned to support the show’s success. Qualifications Essential Job Requirements Proven management or supervisory experience in show production or similar roles. Extensive knowledge of Hawaiian/Polynesian dance and music, with high-level dance skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to perform dance routines and work in a dynamic environment. Deep understanding and respect for Hawaiian/Polynesian culture.
