Paramedic – Full-Time
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Department: EMS
Schedule: Full-Time (12-hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)
Pay Range: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour
Shift Differential - Yes
Sign-On Bonus - Up to $20,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Paramedic to join our EMS team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic and advanced life support, as well as stabilization procedures at emergency scenes and during transport in an ambulance to medical facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to 911 emergency calls and provide life-saving care at accident or illness scenes.
Perform advanced life support (ALS) interventions as needed.
Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring and managing their condition.
Accurately document patient care, treatments, and transport details.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national EMS protocols and regulations.
Work collaboratively with fellow EMS personnel, hospital staff, and first responders.
Maintain ambulance readiness, including equipment checks and restocking.
Qualifications Experience:
Two years of full-time experience as a 911 EMS provider preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
Licensure & Certifications:
South Carolina Paramedic Certification (or eligibility).
National Registered Paramedic (NRP) Certification (must obtain within one year of hire).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification – Required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) – Required within orientation period.
NIMS Compliance (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800) – Required within orientation period.
Valid South Carolina or North Carolina Driver’s License – Required.
